Well, my first reaction is to say no, as he does provide an excellent service to men. He in fact gives us plenty of useful data on how to meet women.

However, from the point of view of providing a workable system his personal materials are definitely a marketing scam. "Cocky and Funny" his hallmark is not the most helpful and great data out there. His place as number one in terms of popularity has to be somewhat of a marketing scam because the workability of his materials do not simply justify it. Dating To Relating and Mr. L. Rx, the number two website by Alexa rankings, offers a much more workable method.

David Deangelo's best materials with the most useful information and data is his dating guru interviews in which he converses with many different dating gurus. Notably, however, his best materials are materials that are not his theory.

I believe that the general problem with Ross's work is that it is simply workable for only a few select personalities of guys -- (boys who have low self esteem for example might value his work) and for some select personality sorts of women (like gamers and manipulating women).
